Julia is a passionate preservationist with experience in the US and abroad. She is interested in urban industrial heritage, heritage as reconciliation and the farms and factories of her home state of Wisconsin. As the Program Director for Historic Milwaukee, Inc. since 2018, she manages and trains volunteer docents, updates and creates neighborhood walking tours and runs Spaces & Traces, an annual residential neighborhood tour.

Julia received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture and Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania.
