With the 250th anniversary of the founding of our nation being celebrated in 2026, we are re-imagining the national conference. In 2026, we will kick off with a national one-day summit in Washington, D.C., bringing national thought leaders together to help us build upon our focus of expanding the commemorative landscape and revitalizing democratic citizenship through the power of historic places.

Then in 2027, we will connect with preservation leaders where they are through multiple half-day regional convenings, which will provide opportunities for us to share National Trust efforts and learn from our partners. Stay tuned for more details about these exciting changes to come!
