jeremy de'jon guyton (he/him) is a performance artist, cultural organizer, and founding steward of a.l.t. ^home, a creative residency and community gathering space rooted in Westmont/Athens, South Central Los Angeles. Through cultural and archival preservation, creative programming, and placemaking, a.l.t. ^home honors the migration histories, kinship rituals, and cultural contributions of Southern Black families who settled in Los Angeles in second wave of the Great Migration, including his own grandparents, in 1961. Operating at the intersection of archival stewardship, creative performance, and social practice, jeremy's work centers Afro//queer artists and cultural organizers.
