Jaime Loichinger is the Director of the Office of Federal Agency Programs (OFAP) at the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. OFAP participates in Section 106 reviews, develops and implements program alternatives, provides technical assistance and guidance for Section 106 users, and works to improve federal agency and stakeholder understanding of Section 106. OFAP also administers the ACHP’s training program, including delivery of classroom courses, webinars, and e-learning.
Jaime joined the ACHP in 2010, starting as a preservation specialist and program analyst, before becoming an Assistant Director for Federal Permitting, Licensing and Assistance within OFAP in 2019. Prior to joining the ACHP, Jaime spent five years at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, working on compliance with both the NHPA and the National Environmental Policy Act.
Jaime is an anthropologist by training, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology-Sociology from Oakland University (Rochester, MI) and a Master's of Applied Anthropology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
