Heather Gibb is the State Historic Preservation Officer with the Iowa State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). Heather manages various SHPO programs from Section 106 to State and Federal Historic Tax Credit projects. She serves on the National Conference of State Historic Preservation Officers Board of Directors, Office of the State Archaeologist Advisory Committee and is a member of the Association of Iowa Archaeologists. Heather completed her dissertation at the University of Missouri, Department of Anthropology with a focus on conservation biology, GIS, and archaeological databases.
