Haley Powell Kelly is a fundraising strategist, grant writer, and generator of creative ventures large and small. In her current role, she works with a wide range of institutional funders to support both local and nationwide efforts to preserve history and tell the full American story. She believes that artists, educators, and culture bearers should be paid for their work. Prior to diving into the world of nonprofit fundraising, her professional work included theatre production, event design, teaching, and art handling. She loves art, appreciates grammar, and prefers rolling up her sleeves to buttoning up her collar.
Haley holds a B.S. from Northwestern University and an M.A. from American University. She recently joined The George Washington University as an adjunct professor for the Museum Education graduate program.
