Taneisha Brooks, a 2024 PastForward Scholarship recipient, is the Program Coordinator for the Historic Athens Equitable Home Preservation Initiative (EHP). She leads efforts to preserve historic and affordable housing, prevent displacement, and protect neighborhood character. With over eight years of nonprofit experience in Athens, Georgia, and as a licensed Realtor®, Taneisha combines real estate expertise with community engagement to advocate for housing equity. She manages EHP operations, collaborates with stakeholders to facilitate home repairs, and secures funding opportunities. Taneisha is dedicated to fostering positive change and values networking, professional growth, and skill development within her field.
