Please join AIA Historic Resources Committee members and fellow preservations at the Milwaukee County Historical Society to tour the Society’s current exhibition, “Brew City: The Story of Milwaukee Beer” and stay for the panel discussion, “Speakeasy and Storytelling” hosted by Women in Design Milwaukee. There will be light appetizers and a cash bar. During “Speakeasy and Storytelling” local preservationists will share stories of their personal journeys in historic preservation and the values they see in Milwaukee’s architectural heritage. Following the tour of the exhibition and panel discussion, attendees are invited to join with HRC members to tour the historic restaurants, pubs and taverns of the Old World Third Street Entertainment District one block away. This is a FREE event and open to all! To sign up register at www.midwke.com. Registration is not required but it helps MIDWKE prepare for the event.
