Tour the historic Hilton Milwaukee with Jeff Stewart, General Manager, to explore how a hospitality business stewards a large, historic building. The tour will focus on the history of the building and its architecture as well as its use of the Federal Historic Preservation Tax Incentives program, energy efficiency retrofits, and how it integrates history into the guest experience. The tour will take participants through the most historic parts of the hotel, showing how the building—once the tallest in the city—has remained true to its Art Deco heritage while the business stays competitive. Stewart will be joined by leadership from The Marcus Corporation and Historic Hotels of America.
