Ethiel Garlington started as the second Executive Director of The 1772 Foundation in September 2023 after working in the non-profit preservation field for 20+ years. He served as the Director of Preservation Field Services for Knox Heritage in Knoxville, TN and Executive Director of Historic Macon Foundation. He is keen to continue the dynamic legacy at 1772 and grow the preservation movement. Ethiel and his wife, Michelle, live in Macon, GA with their two children.
