Wes Nimmo is a Historian with New South Associates, an archaeology and historic preservation consulting firm located in Stone Mountain, Georgia. He received his M.A. in Anthropology from East Carolina University. Since joining New South in 2020, Mr. Nimmo has conducted fieldwork/research and authored reports for clients including the Army Corps of Engineers, the City of Atlanta, and the Georgia Department of Transportation. Prior to joining New South Associates, Wes worked as a tour guide with the Atlanta History Center within their exhibit on memory and the American Civil War.
