Working through a pro forma, the session will walk attendees through the process of analyzing the debt and investment needed to turn a white elephant into a downtown asset.

The session will feature a case study of the transformation of Nextec (formerly Birmingham's Historic Edwards Motor Company) in the historic Fountain Heights neighborhood just blocks from the Civil Rights District, from a previously thriving working-class community into a sixty-five thousand-square-foot technology village.
