David M. Ferguson is the Talent Acquisition Specialist at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, where he oversees staff recruitment and retention. In addition, he manages both a summer internship program and a scholarship for those interested in graduate education in preservation and other allied fields. Prior to joining the National Trust, he worked for a number of years as an executive search consultant serving a range of clients in the civic sector with a primary focus on higher education and the arts. David holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Chicago and hails from the city of New Orleans. A passionate lover of the arts, he's a proud board member of Opera Philadelphia.
