Brian M. Davis serves as executive director for the Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation, the statewide preservation non-profit organization, founded in 1979. After earning a B.S. Architecture from Louisiana Tech University, he worked as an architectural intern in firms in Houston and Galveston. In 2004, he became Preservation Services Director for the Galveston Historical Foundation, during which time he wrote “Lost Galveston”. He served as executive director for Historic Salisbury Foundation from 2012 to 2015, when he returned home to Louisiana to establish a revolving fund program for LTHP. In 2017, he was named executive director of the organization and provides advocacy, education and technical services in all 64 parishes of the state.
