Leslie Matamoros is a seasoned professional with 25 years of expertise in interpretive exhibit development, contemporary art installation, and arts education. Currently serving as the Director of Education at the Sam and Alfreda Maloof Foundation for Arts and Crafts, she leads content development, lesson plan design, and educational programming. Leslie holds an M.A. in Arts Management from Claremont Graduate University and a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of California, Irvine.
Her career includes notable achievements such as curating the exhibition Built on Water at the Ontario Museum of History and Art in 2023, where she spearheaded the creation of VR experiences, educational apps, and interactive education stations.
