The National Trust for Historic Preservation and the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions (NAPC) are collaborating on a series of dialogues among local historic preservation commission staff, board members, and preservation advocates.
The series provides an opportunity to discuss emerging preservation issues and share best practices. Building on a session held at the NAPC FORUM in Florida this summer, this year's PastForward session will focus on climate resilience, including topics such as adaptation for high flood and fire risk areas, lifting and moving historic buildings, and locating solar arrays.
Following short presentations, participants will break out for small round table discussions. All participants are welcome to share their experiences and learn from colleagues across the country!
